Default 2004 Rav 4 Antenna Problem

My antenna sheared off my car the other day with nothing to grab hold of to turn it out. I tried to use an easy out to get it out and that did not work. I have to remove that black mast assembly and I don't even know where to start. Does anybody know where to start?

If you can post a clear close-up photo, I might have an idea. You can use a screw extractor, a left handed device that can be threaded into a small hole you would drill into the center of the broken shaft. Not sure whatthe diameter of the broken piece is, so the picture would help.

I tried using an "easy-out" but the diameter is small (1/8 or 1/4'") There wasn't enough to grip onto. I was wondering if anybody knew of a way to replace the base of the antenna since there is no way to extract the broken piece.
