Default Considering a Rav4

Is there any real mileage difference between a V6 and I4 engine?
I drive about 100 miles a day and would like to know what the difference would be, if any at all.

The answer depends on the kind of driving you do. The biggest mileage difference between the two engines will be noticed in city driving, where the V6 is thirstier, especially if you have a heavy right foot. Out on the highway, the V6 runs at low rpms in 5th gear and the mileage difference drops off to almost nothing.

Thanks! the Wife decided on the 4 cylinder . She does mostly city with it .
Gotta say it's very nice (limited) . I'd have preffered the V6 , but then it's Her car

Sounds like the four-cylinder was the way to go in your case - enjoy!
