Keyless entry

I recently purchased an '06 Scion Xa. It did not come with keyless entry, but I would like to retrofit it. Is this possible, practical, and somethingI could do myself. I'm told it consists of a module that plugs in somewhere plus the fob. Anyone who could shed some light on this would be appreciated.

If it did not come equipped from Toyota, then THE FACTORY KEYLESS can NOT be added. Just like TUNDRAS.
Your going to have to purchase an aftermarket keyless entry system.
