Default Tech Info for 04' xB?

I am not sure if this is the correct place for these questions or not, but I figured I would give it a try. I have an 04' xB and I am in the process of adding aftermarket gauges. I want to replace the factory tach, speedo and fuel level in a new array while I rebuild the dash. When I called the gauge company, they had there own questions for me. Here we go:

How does my 4 cylinder motor fire? Like a 2 cylinder, or like a 4 cylinder? I kinda laughed when I heard the question, but they said there was a difference. Any input?

Also, does anyone know if I can get my fuel level wire at my cluster, or do I have to go to the sending unit under the rear seat? If so, what color did you come up with. Also, what was the range in ohms from empty to full?

Can I also grab my tach input and vss wire at the cluster? Colors?

Thank you in advance or any and all information, I greatly appreciate it.
