I would like to balance the wear on my seats.

Anyone swap the driver bucket seat with the passenger seat?

The adjustment controls would be on the wrong sides... I contemplated this very swap some time ago, and came to the conclusion it wasn't worth it.

Another thing to point out is that the mounting brackets are integrated into the seats themselves (they're not modular), so the rear / inside 'foot' is different (even if all the other 3 are the same).

Also remember the passenger seat has the slide-forward release mechanism (which I believe isn't found on the driver seat). Some distant memory wants me to say this makes for a difference in the mounting parts, but I don't know for sure...

I suppose it could be done if you were willing to completely 'deconstruct' both seats to see if the frame / mount parts could be swapped ...

In general, though - no, I don't know that anyone's done it.....
