Lon's Garage?

I am interested in buying a ScanGuageII which runs off the diagnostic port and displays engine conditions and also trouble codes.

In connection with this I am also interested in upgrading my membership to gain viewing and downloading rights to more info here, including the diagnostic codes.

I also see reference to Lon's Garage as a site of valuable information.

What do I need to do to get access to diagnostic codes and Lon's Garage?
