iPOD/AUX input connector

I purchased mine on ebay,
They are listed under "SC12234"
The seller is very helpful.

There are 3 cables needed.

One goes to the cable that has the ipod flip door on it. It will not plug directly to the radio. You have to plug it in to the third cable.

The second one goes into the first and then connects to the ipod.

The third cable is the one that has to be custom made as it is origionally part of the Scion wiring harness. You can do a web search for SC12234 and will find it on ebay and at least one other location for $70.

These cables are available on ebay as "SC12234" which replaces the wires that are in the main Scion harness, or "SC12235", which plugs directly into the tuner and then the iPod.

The cable comes standard on the 2008 Scion XB.
I am unsure what year your XB is.

The one for '08 Scion tC was sold on eBay. P/n: 86637-1954942 as per the seller. This is the harness from the head unit to the console. Hope it helps.

Nope. That's the wire that goes from the inside of the console to another wire that is under the cover for the parking brake. That other wire is what connects into the back of the head unit.
