SequoiaGeneral discussion forum for the second generation 2008 and later Toyota Sequoia.
This is a discussion thread titled "2008 al-weather mats", within the Sequoia forum, part of the SUV Forums category.
Planning on picking up an '08 Limited with 2nd row buckets. I was hoping the all-weather floor mat set had a mat that ran between the 2nd row seats. Does anyone know if this is the case, and more specically whats all included when they are ordered?
I know that my SR5 came with the stupid non-all weather mat option where you get about $100 worth of mats for $300. I cannot imagine ordering a mat option on purpose. The local auto parts store has 25% off all mats now and they are like $20 a set for deep rubber ones. You need about 3 sets.
I did buy all weather mats for my 2008 seq. Cost me 220 $. Dealer said he ordered 3 different mats. 1) Front and rear, 2) 3rd row, 3) trunk mat.
Front mats were two pieces. Black color and Sequoia written in new fonts. 2nd row is also 2 pieces with no Sequoia written and nothing for the hump in the middle . 3rd row is a continuous mat that runs across. Trunk Mat was two pieces. One that you put in the available space when 3rd row seat is open and second what you can put on when 3rd row seat is folded (basically covers the 3rd row back side). The mat for the folded portion needs to be taken out when you want to use 3rd row.
The mat looks very nice. It's a heavy rubber with lots of ribs to hold spilled liquid etc. I have seen some aftermarket liners/mats that give more coverage but i wanted as close to factory equipped looks as possible.
Thanks for the info. I will be trading in an '05 SR5, so will probably take my OEM all-weather mats out and hope they fit the '08 decently. If not, can always order the '08 mats after.
I live in Wisc., so they are a must-have in the winter (we leave them in all year).
I haven't found any mats I like yet. I get in my truck muddy so I really need good coverage. Husky makes great mats for most vehicles, but I haven't seen any for the new sequoia yet. They have some for the Tundra, I need to call them up and see if those fit the Sequoia in the front row.
I too am looking for the full set of all weather mats for my 08 Limited. Toyota only makes them in black which don't look good on beige interior. I would like all three rows in tan/beige. Husky's it is updated but no pricing as of yet. Others only list first row pair.
I just got a set of fronts from autoanything.com and the second row should be here in a few days. The fit, coverage, and color is great. Exactly what I wanted.
Awesome. I just went to Walmart to get something to cover the floors for $20.00. I assume all three rows will be available (in beige) shortly, hopefully.
I went the same walmart route, knowing it would be temporary. Husky is only showing first and second row, plus cargo area on their site. I'm going to try the second row mats in the third row and I'll post back how they work.
Husky now has the complete set (first, second, third rows and cargo) in three colors. They are immediately available but are a bit pricey: 1st row: $99.95; 2nd and 3rd: $89.95 each; and cargo: $134.95.
That's great news. The first and second row I have were only $70 each and are a perfect fit. I'm off to find the third row, hopefully autoanything.com has then as they were quick to ship and had good prices. Let me know you find someone else who has them in stock, especially if it's a better price.
