Smile 06 Sequoia headlight adjustment?

Does anyone know how to adjust the headlights on a 2006 Sequoia? I know that there have been posts that show how to adjust the 2006 Tundra lights, but the Sequoia light asembly is different. I get highlighted at least once a day if not more when my headlights are on, and it's driving me crazy. I have friends with the same year Sequoia who have the same problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah I do flash them back, when I do they really get to see highlights! I do have a one inch leveling kit on the front with slightly bigger tires, BFG all terrains. It looks better, and handles great off road. Thay should be happy that I'm not behind them with my lifted 06' Tacoma! Thanks for the advice!

It takes a long shafted tool...probably an 8" or so phillips. There is a small gear drive down there...you can see the lateral (left to right) adjustment gear on top of the assembly under the small black cover. The vertical gear is way down the back, and there is a guide hole on the top-back of the headlight assembly.

A phillips head doesn't engage the gear real well, but it can work...and I have not been able to determine if there is a special tool by Toyota made or not.

Worst case, you can unbolt the headlight assy from the truck, and get to that gear that way...

Hope this helps some.

or take turn/parking signal out, and adjust your headlight (you will see gear on a bottom corner of a headlight)
