Default Sequoia Problems - Updated

We just put our 2008 Sequoia SR5 in the shop for warranty work.

It started flashing the ABS and RSCA lights on the dash. It also has locked the shifter in Park.

I'm guessing the ABS system has developed a fault which is why the warning lights are on and the shift lockout is not functioning properly.

The dealer is having to fly someone in from California to look at it, they apparently don't have anyone yet really familiar with the new Sequoia yet.

I'll update the post once I know what the actual problem is.

UPDATE: The tech from Cali found that one of the brake sensors had developed a fault. It wasn't registering when the pedal was pressed. So they replaced it, and we have the Sequoia back.

We got an oil change while we were at it. What's with the old 60's style cartridge filters? Not looking forward to changing the oil using this old-school set up. I know it is cheaper for Toyota, they can charge the same amount and only give you the media, but sheesh! It's going to be messy!
