Default Tail Light Swap?
Has anyone replaced the taillights in an 01-04 Seq with the 05-07 lenses? If so, how was the project?

Outside shapes are same, but inside guts are completely different, plus wire harness is different. They will not fit easily, you will have to cut some sheet metal.

Thanks for the info. I'm ok with the wiring but making the liftgate parts fit concerns me. I really want to swap.

I've done it on my previous 02 Sequoia SR5 (its not difficult to do) but be prepared to cut your sheet metal
