Anybody Know HOw TO Turn Of Vehicle Stability Control?

i have had my '08 sequoia since december 19th and my main dissapointment is the stability control it is great for a person who is afraid of driving and doesnt want to have fun. but for a person like me i like to have fun. and when im driving in the snow i drift a little on purpose and the stability control screws me up. because naturally after the car is sideways i try to correct, but the stability control has already tried to correct for me, thus making me over correct.

the only way i have found to turn it off it to put it in 4wd and turn off traction control and lock the center diff. but is the any way to do it in 2wd?

There is not a way to do it in 2WD its a safety feature. I hate it as well because sometimes I'd like to slide around but it always prematurely catches it!

I thought that when you pushed the TRAC button once the little sliding vehicle appeared. Then if you held the button in for three second the vehicle stabiltiy control was disabled. I'm going to do a little looking to see if this is accurate...

thats the way to do it in tundra, sequoia has the same drivetrain so i think it should work too.
ooo one more think you must stop your vehicle to do it.

briefly depress the button within 5 seconds of starting it...at least that's what all my Toyota training info says...

Actually the 4wd drivetrain between the Tundra and Sequoia are different in a very important way. The 08 Sequoia has a Torsen Limited Slip Center Differential whereas the Tundra has no center differential. This is why the Tundra 4wd systems is considered "part-time" and should only be engaged in wet or slippery conditions.

The Sequoia 4wd system can be operated in dry conditions without any harm to the drivetrain because it incorporates a center Torsen LSD. This is a very important difference between the drivetrain of the 08 4wd Tundra and the 08 4wd Sequoia.

I'm not sure. I can't find any info that would suggest the electronics on the 2 Tundra vs Sequoia 4wd systems operate identically. They could be identical or they could be very different given the PT 4wd design of the Tundra and the FT 4wd design of the Sequoia.
