Default Climate Control Issue/Electric Hatch Problem

I can't seem to figure this out. Cold air comes through the dash vents even when the temp. setting is +70 degrees and is more pronounced when I turn the recirculating air off. I actually had to close the vents but even then, there is some air that still flows through. I have cold air coming from the vents, even when I split the mode between floor and dash vents. Anyone have a suggestion or similar observation?

Also, my electric hatch seems to have stopped working. It beeps once and that's it. I thought my cargo liner might have been in the way, but no go Joe.

Ok, I'm an idiot. There's an on/off switch for the rear hatch that somehow got pushed to the off position and thus the electronic hatch "stopped working." On the climate control issue, I found that setting the air flow to sychronize alleviates the cold airflow problem in the vents. My wife likes her temp much lower and there seems to be some blowby from the passenger side when the vents are functioning independently. So, for now, I've answered my own complaints. Otherwise, I love this vehicle. We travel a great deal over some very rough unpaved roads. Compared to our 2001 Limited, the handling and ride quality on the 2008 is far superior.

I was going to mention this, but I figured that your salesperson had showed that to you (shame on me for assuming a salesperson would go over a relevant (sp?) piece of information on the general functioning of your brand new vehicle...). It sounds to me like you are going to be very beneficial to yourself in figuring out your own problems lol...
