Default Adding load leveling rear suspension

Have any SR5 or Limited owners looked into the cost of adding the load leveling suspension that comes on the Platinums? Just wondering what quotes other people may have received before I contact the dealership. Thanks.

I should clarify. I know its an option but the one I purchased doesn't have it. I wanted to know if anyone has looked into the cost of getting the system added on to their current 08 Sequoia.

I don't think you would able to add it as factory option (only way to go is aftermaket)

I'm looking for the same thing. I have been looking at the aftermarket for a system application listed for the sequoia. I think in a couple months more options will pop up but I'm looking forward to others advise.

I would have to say that the estimated price is between "Outrageous" and "Astronomical". Doesn't this require replacement of major suspension components? I would think that there would also be some computer to deal with it as well, unless that portion of things is already built into the truck...

For $500 or so you can add a set of read airbags to level the loads wehn you tow... or at least that's what I did on my Tundra, not sure if they are out yet for the Sequoia.

I couldn't find an aftermarket kit for an '08, but I'd bet they'll be available soon. I agree that around $500 is what you'll pay for a completely automatic system. Something like a SmartAir Auto Ride Leveling System is going to run you about $280, a set of bags another (probably) $200. Install is cake and should take about 1-1.5 hours.
