Default How About the Rattling of the Seats/Belts?

One unnerving thing about the new 08 is the constant rattling of the seat and seatbelt against the side of the vehicle (if that's what it is). Have to move the seat into a particularly position to eliminate this. Everytime the wife gets in and moves the seat, it starts again. Anyone else notice this? Perhaps the seat is loose? Don't know, but driving down the highway, hearing this, and pushing on the seat constantly to see if it's loose is getting old fast.

I have no rattling sound on my 08. I would have the dealer check it out.

I had a similar rattle in my 07. I first thought it was the seat but then figured out it was the metal seatbelt receptacle rattling against the plastic seatbelt housing on the door. Sometimes when the seatbelt is not fully retracted it does this. Not a big deal - just adjust the seatbelt and it should stop.

I know how you feel i have the same noise. It would stop from time to time but then I comes back again. It is the most annoying sound I have ever hear, but o well I guess keep moving the seat until you find a spot where it does not rattle. It has been a couple of days now since I heard it the las time. But I definitely understand what you mean.

It is rather annoying. It is the end of the seatbelt bumping up against the plastic . My 05 had a piece of felt attached to the plastic where the seatbelt bumped up against it, which eliminated the rattle. I have been thinking about finding some thin self adhesive felt or cloth to attach to the plastic to eliminate the problem, I just have not gotten around to it yet.
