SequoiaGeneral discussion forum for the second generation 2008 and later Toyota Sequoia.
This is a discussion thread titled "How to turn on the radio. Help ASAP pls", within the Sequoia forum, part of the SUV Forums category.
Yu CANNOT use a Lexus Map DVD in a Toyota and vice versa. The existing firmware will not allow it.
I think yu may have crossed polarity when yu jumpstarted the battery and screwed everything up! lights left on just don't drain the battery in any Toyota. It's a failsafe that all car makers have these days!
I think yu have a learning curve going on. Read the owners manual.
If yu are unable to get Dealer service...A service manual is a definite must for your toolbox!!!!!!!!
It just may be that simple.
Honestly.. where are yu located? Is it a secret?
Reason I ask is that is because how will yu obtain a Map DVD for your region if it doesn't exist...or does it???
Well, its interesting, since i've done it with my neighbors lexus rx330 and sequoia gen4. matter affect i've updated my friends rx330 dvd with U21 dvd.

Ok if Lexus map don’t supported by Sequoia where I can get the original DVD disk? I can’t buy it in Kazakhstan. I can only download it from internet.
About crossed polarity – its impossible. Because I always very thoroughly checking the polarity and always use colored wires.
Where I can get a SERVICE MANUAL?
My location is not a secret.
Country – Kazakhstan. City – Almaty.
Toyota DVD disk with map for my country doesn't exist.
I use navigation screen only for back up camera, trip computer, DVD video, etc. but not for navigation. If I need a GPS navigation I use PDA with GPS or Garmin with detailed map of my country.
