The new Toyota Sequoia 2008 Platinum with NAV and Rear DVD
I forgot to turn off the interior light
After that my battery was fully discharged
I used booster to start the engine
And now I can't turn on the radio, back up camera is don't work too.
"Please insert the DVD map" shown on the screen.
Front CD-changer don't work.
All buttons on the radio don't work. Only after press the "AUDIO" button can hear a double beep.
Rear DVD is working correctly.

well from reading your post i assume its not going to do any good to tell you to read the owners manual....im sure its in english so that may not benefit you.
but your battery will not discharge by leaving the interior lamps on. they will time out after a preset length of time if you leave them on. same thing with anything plugged into a 12v outlet- they have a 2 hour limit after you turn the truck off so they will not allow it to drain either. owners manual will tell you all about battery discharge protection. you have an electrical problem, sounds like its not a problem that you created or caused- sounds like an actual issue with the truck so i'd take it back for warranty work...
Read your warranty information and then follow the directions for contacting them for warranty work, thats what the warranty is for.
Havent you contacted the dealership you purchased from? My dealership is about 100 miles away but I would always have always contacted them first before doing anything else.
Unfortunaly my dealership where I purchased a car is 10000 miles away from me.
LOL, 1000 miles
Anyways, even if you have 2008 sequoia NAV, and you drained, or disconected battery for longer then 5 minutes, then when powered again, your NAV has to load MAP DVD, and THEN after MAP DVD will be loaded, your radio will work.

I disconnected the battery for 30 min
After that I started the engine but radio still doesn't work
I checked all items included with the car (manuals, headphones, remote controller etc) but I can't find the original DVD map disk.
I used DVD map from my Lexus RX330 2004, but maybe it’s not supported by Sequoia, because NAV doesn’t work with it.
I checked all fuses, they all are working good.
Seems like it’s some program error.
Unfortunately I can’t ask about this problem any Toyota dealer, because Sequoia is not official car in my country. Toyotas official dealerships don’t support this car. And it’s very new model, nobody knows anything about new Sequoia in my city.
I hope for your help.
Where can I download the image of the original Sequoia 2008 DVD map?
OK, lets syart from the begining. Prior to "discharging" your battery was the navigation system working? What DVD map was in the drive when you somehow came into ownership of this car? If you tried to use the DVD from an earlier Lexsus how did you load it in the drive? Did you remove the original DVD map first? Are you sure you didn't load it into your cd drive instead of the DVD drive? Did the car even come with the original DVD map installed?
Before discharging the battery DVD navigation slot was empty.
I'm sure that I load DVD map from Lexus correctly.
Now I’ll try to load original Sequoia navigation disk.
But I don’t know where I can get it.
Ok, Petro here you go.
first you have to have MAP DVD from Generation 5 Navigation System (seems like you have Generation 4 MAP from Lexus)
Then, after you power up your navigation, insert MAP DVD into slot, and let your navigation system to load a software from MAP DVD, other wise your radio will not work.
ONCE AGAIN Your radio will function or power up, untill you will load GEN 5 MAP DVD first.

Thanks a lot for your care.
I have a last problem, I can’t find MAP DVD from Generation 5 navigation system.
My fried is owner of 2008 Lexus LX570, can I use disk from his car?
Yu CANNOT use a Lexus Map DVD in a Toyota and vice versa. The existing firmware will not allow it.
I think yu may have crossed polarity when yu jumpstarted the battery and screwed everything up! lights left on just don't drain the battery in any Toyota. It's a failsafe that all car makers have these days!
I think yu have a learning curve going on. Read the owners manual.
If yu are unable to get Dealer service...A service manual is a definite must for your toolbox!!!!!!!!
It just may be that simple.
Honestly.. where are yu located? Is it a secret?
Reason I ask is that is because how will yu obtain a Map DVD for your region if it doesn't exist...or does it???
