SequoiaGeneral discussion forum for the second generation 2008 and later Toyota Sequoia.
This is a discussion thread titled "Temporarily allow Nav use while driving?", within the Sequoia forum, part of the SUV Forums category.
I saw a post in the Tundra forum talking about to get into the Maintenance/Diagnostics screen to temporarily allow data entry and Nav operation while the vehicle is moving.
It didn't seem to work on my 08 Sequoia. Has anyone found a way to do this?
Just google around a bit. I burnt a DVD with the oder bootfile and the newer data and it works great. I hate the fact that I need to press "I agree" every time I start up the thing.
Where can I find the link for more on purchasing this DVD?

I read the forum links. Looks like a DVD option and a possible pulse generator option. Anyone using these and can you comment on thier usage?
I use the speed pulse generator. After 6 months I still think its great although I wish it weren't needed. But this approach works great. For more details follow this link starting with post #123 for my experience in installing the SPG DIY: All NAV Functions All The Time without Firmware Downgrade!
