I believe the Sequoia is pre wired for a brake controller. Maybe someone here can confirm. If you are looking for a brake controller I would suggest you go with the Prodigy. The Prodigy is superior when it comes to brake controllers.

Yes it is prewired IF YOU GOT the tow package option, in other words, do you have a trans temp gauge in the cluster or a factory installed hitch? The plug to connect your controller into is behind the drivers side kick panel near the ebrake foot pedel.

Look in your owners manual it gives you all the info you need to find it.

Only real issue is where to mount the controller. I would Only do a Prodigy as mentioned above.

I wired mine up to the upper glove box and mounted it inside of it and cut a hole right behind the controller in to the back wall of the box for the wiring. Very clean and looks stock and is always there now for when ever I need it. I use it about once a month.

thanks guys for the response, . i will buy the prodogy controller. do you have any good webshops? let me know. i will also buy the toyota plug n play harness. now i will only tow maybe 3 times a year, so a ghetto mount would be fine for me, like maybe velocro aim sure you had to take off the mount for you install, no?? i can just se myself breaking all kinds on clips on the dash.

thanks
bj

ps- can you please post a pic of of you mount?

Go under Tundra forums and search for towing and brake controlers.
I know its sux to look for it, but i know for sure Tundra Guys already talked about many times. It is very easy to do, and I know for sure you can do it your self. Its better if you use search option, this way you will find many posts, and see lots of pictures.
