Default 2009 Sequoia Info

I am about to trade in my '06 Sequoia for the 08 and love the deal I am getting, but I was wondering if anyone knows how long it will be until the 09s come out. I am a little hesitant to buy it so late in the model year since I know I will take a major loss on value on this the way I am with my 06. But I love my giant gas guzzling Sequoia and will settle for nothing less.

I know they halted production for three months, but I don't know when the first '09s will be delivered. Does anyone know this?

Thanks in advance!
Liz

It is my understanding the factory is scheduled to re-open in November. I wouldn't expect to see any until after the first of the year. If you find one now equipped the way you like it, I would jump on it. At least that was our excuse. Some dealers are dealing trying to reduce their stock. We got ours at $1600 below invoice (plus tax) and 0% APR.

I have my dealer down to $2000 below invoice (and i am doing the 0% for 72 months), but I am starting to rethink buying a Platinum instead of a loaded Limited after reading discussions on the suspension from this forum.

Thanks for your help!

You would have to pry my Platinum from my cold, dead fingers.

Thanks for the advice. My dealership had no Platinums for me to test drive until today, so now I can actually compare for myself.

I would go for the Platinum. T-EMS (adjustable suspension) in itself is worth the cost of entry.

By the way, I'm in Charlotte and have a loaded Platinum If your dealer is unable to arrange an evaluation, drop me a note.

Took delivery of a loaded plat 4X4 2 weeks ago for $6000 under INVOICE OTD (w/o the 0%). That's invoice minus rebate minus holdback. Sequoias are not moving off dealer lots so you're in the driver's seat, so to speak, when it comes to negotiating price.

Hope this helps.

Toyota will start building them again in November. You should see arrival in december. Canada will follow just after January.
