2008 Sequoia Platinum Subwoofer

I feel that the bass/subwoofer is not as strong as I would like in this vehicle. I have the bass adjustment all the way up. Is there any other configuration to turn the subwoofer on/off? I am a hoping that I am missing something and that there's something else I can do to get more bass.

I have a 2005 Honda Element and the subwoofer in that car blows this one away. I traded a 1994 Lexus GS300 and the subwoofer in that car also blew this one away.

i also agree. i have a SR5 sequoia with the jbl 14 speaker system im sure your platinum also has and i also wish it had more bass. i have been thinking of changing out the sub for a better one with more bass, im a fan of JL audio but i dont know if it will be too much for the factory amp to handle. has anyone done this yet? or have any ideas for this?

for clarity, I am not wanting anything unusually powerful. I'm not looking for that shake the street hip-hop subwoofer, just something with more impact than what I can seem to get now.

Does anyone know where the subwoofer is located on this vehicle? Can it be easily changed out?

open the rear hatch door and its on your left behind the small grill. if im right, it should only be a few screws holding it in and then it should have a plug in the back that plugs into it. i think. i havent taken it out to take a look at it yet. does anyone know how many watts are going into the sub? i want to get the most bass without installing another amp.
