Default Brake Dust

Got my new '08 Sequoia. One thing I have noticed right away is that the brake dust is ridiculous. Less than 400 miles on it, and the wheels are filthy. Anybody else had problems with this?

Seal your wheels with a good sealant (Wheel Wax comes to mind) and you will notice a reduction in brake dust.

I use wheel wax on the polished aluminum (sealed) wheels on my 05 Vette. It helps, but not much.

I've turned the front wheels in/out to allow access to the"barrels" of the wheels for cleaning.

You have to get on you back and get wet to clean the rears.

Put some ceramic pads on and you won't have that problem at all.

I've got just over 400 miles on mine, too. I washed it yesterday for the first time. I noticed the brake dust too.
