I'd love to see one. How would one lift the independent rear suspension? I've never seen any kit for that.
Also, the Platinum, with the auto/manual air leveling feature, would that be tossed out with a kit?
P.S. Edit:
Found this one mentioned in another thread:

I sent an inquiry to Revtec about a week ago and their response was that the lift for the 2008 model (part #441) would work with no problem, will not wear the ball joints (that was one of my questions), is backed by Toyota Motor Corp. and can be dealer installed.
I finnally have finished lifting the 08 sequoia, 2.5 rancho for the front and adjusted the rear air bags to 2 inches in the rear, very happy with ride quality and handling, i put 34.5 x 11.4 inch tires on stock rims and still lots of clearance, took a bit playing to fool the rear electronic ride controll but works very well now, i also added a front winch mount so shes ready to take to the bush, going to mbrp for exhaust on friday and it will be done till spring when a supercharger will be added, if anyone needs help with there lift dont hessitate to ask.
Wow, very interesting. Where did you buy the parts? I take you have the Platinum, with the ride height adj and auto levelling suspension? What do you mean by "a bit of play" to fool the the rear ride control? Does that still work or was it bypassed?
It had only 1" of play anyway, but I wonder how it would affect handling and to level the car with cargo.
The platnum may be differant as ive heard it has front sensors as well as rear, mine is the limited with auto leveling (rear air springs) i ground out the adjustment slots were the linkage goes from the upper control arms to the ride hieght switches on both sides and started adjusting over two days until i found the actual desired hieght, you have a range of almost 5 inches from the lowest point to the highest. i settled for 2 inches over stock ride height, set the linkage rods to that point so the ride control switchs think the truck is at stock hieght, ive put 2500kms on since then with and without trailer and everything is fine, the front is lifted using rancho suspensions 2.5" lift front struts for tundra and sequioa and the install time is less then half an hour per side, front end alighnment was suprisingly still in the green on the toyota alighnment machine however i readjusted to perfect. with the tires the front fender lip height is four inches higher and the rear is 3.25 inches higher, bottom of running boards is 16 inches to ground if that helps. the struts are $500 canadian and are available through any auto parts store, ranchos website has the part numbers for you.
p.s. you cannot operate vehichle without linkage rods atached to switches, i tried this and the vehicle will actually lower and raise itself even without switch movement. the system has to remain in operation.
Thanks for the update, very interesting and useful info. Looks like you know very well what you're doing, I'm not sure I'd be qualified for that. I looked for the Rancho kit, and they say you can't fit them with the airbags, so I'll have to find a shop to work around the issue as you did. The front suspension is in fact adjustable by 1".
what do you mean by the front suspension being adjustable by one inch? and i think you could do this yourself if you had the tools, you would have to have a shop change the strut springs for though if you didnt have a strut compressor

I have lots of tools, but not a spring compressor.
As for the front suspension, maybe we're talking about the same thing? The owner's manual on page 202 explains these buttons on the right most corner of the picture below:
The one on the top controls the following 3 settings:
Hi mode: for driving on bumpy roads: 1.2 in higher than normal (I suppose it lifts the whole car, front and rear)
N mode: normal
Lo mode: for ease of egress/ingress and loading luggage; 1.2in lower than normal.
Do you have these buttons and do you know more if they effect the front suspension?
Mine has the same buttons but not the ride controll dial to the left, with mine the hieght adjustment button only affects the rear of the vehicle and in stock form it changes rear bumper hieght 1 3/4 up from normal ride height , that all still functions properly on mine however the vehicle will only go up about 3/4 of an inch now that the ride hieght has been adjusted. Randy at revtech mentioned that the platnum has front sensors that could become an issue. he has details on how to get around that, i would suggest you purchase the kit from revtech and then you can use there knowledge as they have done a platnum. he is very helpful, i didnt purchase there kit as it was difficult to get in Canada.

The button on the bottom is the manual override.
as soon as you go over 10mph i believe it goes back to normal height (from Low or from High)
