yeah i notice that above 70 MPH the MPG's drop too. I am taking a weekend trip, but only for the afternoon with 7 on board. I will let you know what type of mpg i get on this trip.
I'm at 8,500 and getting about 15 around town. I work in real estate so I do a ton of driving in the city. Highway comes out to around 18-19. Not even too bad when I'm towing 6,000# boat.
2008 Plat. Sequoia 4x4. I have about 7500 miles...all city driving, and I get a whoppin' 12.1 MPG!
Pretty terrible, but I'm using regular grade gas, I'll fill up with 91 octane every now and again...but I don't really see much of an improvement when I do.
Thinking how much more that will drop after I get the supercharger installed (no solid date for install as the wife still isn't buying into the forced induction idea...yet). Also, thinking about the Corsa exhaust as well.
I'd be happy I got around 12MPG after all that is installed. Thank God I only have to drive 14 miles a day...
I just finished a tank of premium (shell) 93 octane. Just city driving and got 14.9. Which is actually a little worse than what I get w/ regular. 15-15.5. I've got a tank of premium no-ethanol in there now, not sure if the no-ethanol would make a difference but what the heck. I need to try the premium on a highway trip to see if there is any improvement. This thread has got me thinking.
Dont waste your $$$ on premium. Our Sequoia's were designed for 87. plus what is premium? 15-20 cents more? the 0.1-0.2 MPG increase won't offset the added costs. change the oil and boost the tire pressure 2 psi. It will get you more MPG than 93...

You should get better gas milage with the supercharger because your motor won't have to work as hard to get the sequoia moving. That being said you will be on the gas alot more and will probably get worse milage.
I took my 2009 vmax out yesturday and my reserve light came on at 58 miles that under 20mpg on a motorcycle

damn! my r6 used to get close to 37mpg, but after all the mods, i get closer to 20.
I get 11.8 mpg...according to the onboard computer, I check everytime I fill it up. Mostly driving on the suburbs, eventual 80mph highway.
I got 13.8 on the FX, and it's a V6, so I didn't expect much. I'd love to get the numbers you guys are reporting, but I frankly don't know how you guys do it.
Just returned from round trip DC to South Carolina -- average got as high as 18.5 in Southern Virginia but dropped to @17.7 in North and South Carolina as my speed increased.
Dallas and back this weekend and got 18.5 both ways. I still have the 5w30 oil in that the dealer installed the last oil change. I'm going to 5w20 and doing it myself the next change and will see if that does any better on the mpgs.
