Start buttons are a luxury feature. The brand usually determines if the car is a luxury vehicle.

Its a shame that the Corolla has push button start while the Sequoia does not.

I have the Platinum with 4wd. I'll try to post pics once we get a few days of nice of weather and it isn't covered with salt.
Of all the nice features on this truck the thing that blows me away is how fast and smooth the acceleration is. Completely amazing for a 6000 pound vehicle.
After 25 years of driving Ford, GM and Chrysler....I'm totally impressed with everything so far. The NAV system is going to take some work to figure out but I'm sure we'll get the hang of it.

From the research I did I think the '09's are virtually the same as the '08's. i couldn't find a single spec which was different although I'd be happy to stand corrected.
Either way...I'm very impressed with the vehicle.
Hey Vermin... Are you in Canada? Toyota Website still advertises the 2008 models! I reached a dealer in California and they told me that the '09 models are not out yet <amazing> plus they are doubting that Toyota will make Platinums for 2009..., I think the dealer -themselves- wanting to get rid of their pile of the 2008 Sequoias.......hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Hey Windancer...yes I'm in Canada. Got to the Canadian Toyota website. TOYOTA CANADA : TOYOTA.CA LANGUAGE . They have been showing '09's for about a month. Mine is definitely an '09 as I have the factory build sheet that they stick on the window. I noticed as well that the U.S site still shows only '08 models. I'm thinking it's because in Canada there were hardly any '08's still on dealers lots.....so maybe they are only building 09's for Canada at this point???

I thought I read somewhere the 09's will be flexfuel E85 compatible. Aside from that everything else will be the same as the 08's.

Hello,

My '09 Platinum in Pyrite with Sand Beige is scheduled to be delivered to my dealer by Jan. 19th. If you went through Toyota Financial Services, would you mind telling me the interest rate you obtained?

Thanks very much!

Pricing here looks to be a little higher than I they were going for.

You are burlington. Which Toyota dealer did you buy from?

Ancaster.
Payment was about what I figured it would be.
If I get a fair price and great service---I'm cool with that.

So, you're saying the plant producing Sequoias in Princeton, IN is up & running now?! How come dealers do not have that advertised in their sites -as for the 2009 models!

Which state or dealer are you buying from?

I'm not saying any plant is up and running.
The sticker inside the door does say it was manufactured in Indiana.
I am in Canada.
They are selling '09's in Canada.
I have one.
I've had it 9 days.
That's all I know.

I went with the Pyrite Mica with Red Rock interior. I wanted the Desert Sand Mica but unfortunately that color isn't offered in Canada. The Pyrite is pretty unique and I'm happy with the look of it.
I'm thinking we pay more up here strictly due to the difference in our dollar which is worth 20% less than yours.
Good luck luck with getting your new ride---you won't be disappointed.
Hopefully they release the '09's or '10's soon for you guys.
