I wonder if any one had fender flares on his 2008 Sequoia.
Can we see some pics?
I wnder if any one has those installed with the dealership or are they that easy to install as a "Do it ur self!"

Here ya go, These are some quick shots taken @ delivery. Its been raining every other day so I haven't had a chance to clean it.

I was thinking of adding the flares to my 08 too. Do they really do anything to help keep the vehicle a little cleaner? They are pretty trim and don’t stick out much. My hope is they will help keep the doors a little cleaner from wet road dust and what not.

Comments please.

No disrespect to those that have these flares, however for my taste they really degrade the look of the Sequoia. They look far too "tacked on" and not well integrated into the overall look of the vehicle. But I also happen to think the fender flares on the MB S550 also look tacky (and very similar to the Sequoia's flares above), so don't just go by my opinion.

On the MB they look downright silly and on the Sequoia they simply look cheap, but to each his own when it comes to esthetics Mercedes-Benz, Home of Mercedes-Benz Luxury Automobiles

Very nice if youa sk me....more distiction than a plain fender...more shape...depicting probably the beast in front and the "cuty" on the side.. great vehicle..is that a RED ROck interior?

That actually looks pretty darn nice...I knew the Sequoia was missing something.

That's the color I want too and I'm definitely getting the fender flares now.

Here is where SET (SouthEast Toyota) gets most of their OEM flares. I used these on on 2007 Tundra and they are super.

Bushwacker - Fender Flares, BedRail Caps & TrailArmor

One thing to remember ... once you install them ... it is difficult to take them off without "micro-scratches" where the soft mounting rubber meets the painted surface.

Sorry, I don't have any pic ... but there are pics of many different types on the above listed link .... I LOVE my flares and would put them on again in a heartbeat.

You can have them primed and painted ... or put them on "as is". Their original color is a very dark-grayish-black that matches many items on my Tundra.

PS .. IMHO ... of all the mods ... these flares, Line-X and the TRD duals are really the only mods that I really enjoy now.

It looks good with fender flares. It brings more style , I like it I hope they put that as a standard on a Sequioa.

Not sure if it's correct info but my dealer said the flares they order have to painted as well. However, there is word from Toyota that they will start shipping color matched, factory painted flares to the dealers around March. He advised I wait until then to order some. Again...I haven't confirmed this info but seemed logical...
