Default Doug Thorley Headers in need of 08-09 Sequoia

We need an 08 or 09 Sequoia for a header test fit and an exhaust test fit. We have designed an exhaust that is just amazing we just need to make sure everything is correct on another vehicle. If anybody has or knows where to get one close by our Corona facility they will be rewarded. The person will recieve a set of headers and the exhaust of their choice for no charge. Please let me know if anybody is interested.

Thanks
Nick

What kind of horsepower, torque and/or fuel economy gains do you expect with your system?

With the Tundra we make 34 HP and 56 tq with just headers alone! I would guess we would be somewhere in that ballpark not to mention the added fuel economy.

Thanks

Hey Nick ,

Keith From San Diego here,

You mentioned the system would be free of charge, how about labor, and what if I wanted them taken off would you take them back for free too? As in not charge for labor costs.

I have the SR5 with the 5.7 V8

The shorties are smog legal. The person would get the parts and labor for free for compensation.

Thanks

I'm in North County San Diego, I just picked up an '08 Platinum Sequoia, I'd be willing to lend my rig for development if interested.

I am in San Jose, CA. I am willing to drive down south so you could use my 08 plat 5.7 as a test car. You say I can keep them at no charge. I would want my OEM parts back also.

How many day would it take for you to complete your installation and all needed tests? Get back in touch with me and we can make the needed arrangements.

From the lack of response, looks like they've already found their sequoia(s)...too bad, I would have loved to get new headers and exhaust for my Sequoia!

They never came back and picked a owner for the test truck. I wonder why, was it just bull or what? Did anyone receive the special offer after all?

I called and left a message on 1/10/2009 (a day after the original post) that I had a 2008 Sequoia and was interested. I never heard back from them. I would be leery of changing the headers anyways. Have you seen the headers on the Sequoia, they are a work of art. I would consider a Cat Back system though.
