Default New Sequoia Owner

Hey guys and gals...we just picked up an 08 limited before Christmas. After lots of traveling over the holidays we've really enjoyed it. I have notived the rear window gets extremely dirty and rain soaked during driving. Does the rear spoiler help this problem? From an aero perspective, I could see how it would help deflect the rain/dirt from the rear window.

Can anyone with the rear spoiler advise? I was going to order one if it's truly functional...thanks.

I'm not seeing as much of a difference as I was hoping for (comparing 4runner without spoiler to Sequoia with).

The window is going to get dirty regardless if you have the spoiler. The spoiler is mostly for looks IMO. It does help keep frost off the rear window, but that's about it.

Thanks! We upgraded from a 07 4Runner Sport, in Silver Sky of course!

Thanks to everyone on the spoiler feedback. I was hoping it was more functional than for looks...

No - it doesn't help. I have noted that this thing really kicks up a spray onto the back portion of the vehicle. No question - even worse than my Armada with Wrangler All-Terrains.

I believe that it's caused by the fact that the rear wheels are too close to the back end of the vehicle. If anyone knows where to get bigger (as in longer) mud flaps, I'm sure it would eliminate the problem or at least , make things better.
This is a major irritant for me and thankfully, my only complaint about this great truck.
