Wow, approximately 150 views since my last post and no comments!!!

Either people are astonished that there is such a thing as a color-coded Sequoia grille, or people just don't care!

Anyways, for those people who do care, here are shots of the grille installed on my truck.

It took about 20 minutes, and that was taking my sweet old time.
All that is needed is a 10mm socket wrench.

Funny story: I actually got hooked up gratis because I spoke with the GM at my dealership AFTER I got a great deal on the truck. I wanted to see if he could get ithe grille for me at cost pricing (as a favor), and the guy was like "You know what, how about I pick up the tab on the whole thing." Needless to say I was super happy!!!

I just found out some disappointing news for some of you. There is an article that says that the 2009 Sequoia SR5 will come with a sport appearance package, but only in Black, Silver, and White. Meaning that there probably isn't any other body-colored grille available from the dealer as an OEM part. I guess I have a 2009 Sport grille on my truck...

"The new Sport Appearance Package is available for the Toyota SR5 grade 5.7- liter models with 2WD or 4WD. The package includes seven-passenger seating, 20-inch alloy wheels with a unique finish, color-keyed sport grille, rear spoiler, fog lamps, power driver's seat, and a black fabric interior. The Sport Appearance Package is available in three colors: Super White, Silver Sky Metallic and Black."

I seem to have every option except the 20-inch rims. There's no way in hell that I would've bought the Sport package though because I need 8 passenger seating. That would've been a deal breaker for me. Plus, I like my Grey heated leather seats although I'm interested to know what the fabric looks like. Probably something like the Tundra sport fabric if not the same exact thing.

Anyhow, I wouldn't get too disappointed about the grille. Before I got one from the dealer, I was going to bid on a used one on ebay and have it sprayed in my body color from the body shop. That was my plan A and it seemed easy enough to do!

So if 53100-0C210-C0 is for Black, and 53100-0C210-B0 is for Silver, I am guessing that 53100-0C210-A0 must be for the White (SR5 and LTD). Just guessing though...
