The laser cruise control thing. That's what I call it but I'm probably way off. For the size of it, I should be able to melt cars or something!

I had this done to my 2008 Sequoia Limited last week, thanks to the info and photos posted here. It looks ... fantastic. Done at my local dealer, where I ordered the part. Total cost -- part plus labor -- was a little over $300. Well worth the money in my book. The truck is much less intimidating-looking and "huge-SUV-ish" than before without the big chrome pickup truck-like grille. Now, the black grille blends in with the rest of the front. It looks just like the photo posted above (black).

I just installed mine yesterday. silver sky. the insert is a darker gray, not quite black. i removed the silver sky insert from my chrome grille and debated whether or not to put it into the silver shell.

what do you guys think?
