Has any one color keyed the grille on your Sequoia?

Would it be the same exact grille like the Tundra's?
I too am very interested in how this would look like. This of course would be for the SR5 models where the only thing that is chrome is the grille. LTDs don't have this problem but for the SR5 it just seems out of place. Maybe I have to grow into it, or better yet, throw on some 26" chrome wheels to balance it out. I will try and sell the latter idea to the wifey...

At this point, it looks like there is a different part number for the Sequoia color coded grilles. I am attempting to order one from my dealer. I will probably know tomorrow if he was successful at getting one for me.
I'll post pics tomorrow if I get it...

I talked to my dealer the colored key grille part#53100-0C210BO that is for the tundra SR5(this grille will fit Sequoia SR5 only),Limited and platinum have different part# and my dealer beleives that you can not put color keyed grille on a limited and platinum series..Usually my part guy is accurate...

I think your parts guy is wrong because the colored grille for the tundra has the first five digits beginning as 53101, not 53100. The main difference of course being that the Tundra has that small mini grille on the top part of the grille surround and the Sequoia does not.
As far as it not fitting the Limited or Platinum, that just sounds wrong. Better to double-check but I don't see any differences between the chrmoe grilles on the SR5 and Limited or Platinum, so I am not sure why he would say that a Sequoia specific grille, the 53100, would'r fit the latter two.
Anyhow, stay tuned and I will hopefully have answers by tomorrow.

Is your guy saying that BOTH the above numbers are for Tundra AND Sequoia? Because then he is definitely wrong IMO. All tundra models have grilles that are different than all Sequoia models, regardless if chrome of color coded.

this part#53100 and 53101 are only tundras...the sequoia part# he is only showing chrome and not colored keyed.he ordered the 53100 on silver sky metallic colored keyed grille and i will bring in my Sequoia to see if it fits...

This is the printout I got from the dealer. It clearly states 53101 as the part number, and the picture shows what clearly appears to be a Sequoia grille, not a Tundra one. It could be that the picture is wrong, though.
