Default Compustar pro Caught a criminal.

Here I am sitting waiting to get my hair cut when my alarm goes off. Hard Panic. I turn around and a van is backing up. It just hit my sequoia. I run out there and he is parking woooo. I said thankyou for stopping. This is where it gets weird. He said what? I said you just hit my truck. He says "No I didn't". My alarm is going off two sirens and the horn. I am thinking great. I look at his bumper and there is definatly paint transfer. I said I am calling the police, I am on the phone with them and the next thing I know he is swinging at me while I am on the phone. No joke. When the police arrived, quickly I might add they found him on the ground with me sitting on him. The police officer couldn't hold it in but quickly redeemed himself. Now the Bad news. No insurance and he had a warrant out for his arrest. I am screwed. I went to the local body shop $694.00 for a bumper cover and paint installed. That sucks. I told the shop guy my story and I was gonna pay cash and he dropped it to $500 Still sucks but my hair cut ended up being free. 2way pager alarms rock..

Nice story. I like the part where he denies hitting your truck, then takes a swing at you. Instant guilt.

I have an appt. to get my compustar pro installed next week but I was only doing the remote start part without the alarm. What options did you have installed on your compustar system for the alarm to go off? or what that from the dealer installated alarm feature? thanks, great story

Great story! I found a giant dent in the back of my hatch beside the drivers side taillight on superbowl sunday. No scratches whatsoever and appeared as though a ball or something hit it. I was able to push it out but there are still ripples

Wish I would have been able to find out who did it! I may have been the one going to jail though.

All options I think? It rolls up and vents windows unlocks door, starts the car, has two shock sensors (big truck), I added an extra siren for alarm and then all the two way info with the remote. Other than the size of the remote its a great system. A 2 sec delay in the buttons activation would have been nice too.

I am a power lifter. If he would have ran I probably wouldn't have chased him. He swung and got grabed in my own defense. I really wouldn't want to hurt anyone but he found out quickly how strong I was and didn't struggle much once he was face down. I have some friends that would have probably gone to jail if it happened to them as well. I am just happy I didn't get hurt. There are some crazy people out there..
