Thanks Dianne,
Any news on the 4.6 V8 and the availiability in different packages in the Sequoia or Tundra?

I wonder what this USB port is supposed to do. Will it have an HD based Nav, and so you can copy mp3 to the HD?

Will you be able to hook up one of those portable HD and it will read it like a CD, only you can have 500GB + of songs/ videos?

I doubt it, but I'd like to know why the USB is there.

I do not know this with 100% certainty, but several of the other vehicles that have this allow you to hook up so an iPhone or iPod to the USB port. First this allows the device to be charged, second it allows you to control the device through the controls in the vehicle such as the steering wheel controls. Like I said this is what this is used for on other vehicles.

Hi dianne

I know this is a Seq thread and Ill robably get yelled at but I was curious about the Tundra.

The CrewMax tindra Grade had the bench seat standard. what is going to have the bench seat in the 2010 model year. I need to seat 6 people in the truck.

Oh the USB comes on the Hondas too and you just plug your Ipod in there and it works like its connected to your computer. Some even have a option to download a song from the radio or satrad to your Ipod. Cool I want it

I won't yell at you. I have a teenager. I'm going to wait till I get home!

I imagine the USB is for the music, and running the audio controls via the audio car controls... iPod, MP3 player etc.

A bench is not a luxury item so it's never going to be on a higher end model - it's more for function. I can custom order all sorts of things ala carte if it's possible.

Toyota to add Hdd navigation that's a joke they still aim for perfection on there ever so outdated lame Jbl Navigation which is old school dvd based. Personally if Toyota had the ball's to improve it's Navigation grade system I might be impressed but I'm not .

Toyota Usb is just a recent add on for the 2010 model's and will work on thumb drive's and play audio from that application. I do feel if the Hdd navi was retained you see a lot more intrest from my end and other owners out there seeking the very best from Toyota. Good luck Toyota in the audio deptment You never had decent stuff from my end I usually have to rip somethings out and buy aftermarket to where the factory just doesnt cut it feature wise.

Do you know anything about the upcoming Platinum Tundra?

I would like to know when they are going to start arriving on dealer lots if possible.

Thanks,

Hi...I'd be intersted in 2010 4X4 Platinum Sequoia (an ALL-WHEEL DRIVE would be ideal!!) I wish to see some of teh Land Cruiser options imitated for the Sequoia "Big Brother"! My color of choice would be Maroon (or teh CASSIS Pearl) with a Red Rock interior.

I wish Toyota would bring an XL version of the Sequoia too....why not?! I'm sure there would be at least quite a few buyers would be interested to have more room for travels and camping trips..

Thanks..

Toyota talked about an XL edition but the current state right now the ideal was dropped..Seq sales right now are died and the dealerships don't have the inventory they used too Its still a fine product none the less and I like mine.

Our Local dealerships are running a special on Limited 2wd navi for $39,000
