Theohiomike, did you notice if you lost any of that awsome turning radius when you did the wheels? that is one of my favorite things about the sequoia, and it would be a bummer to lose it.

I have noticed NO differance in turning or even gas mileage which shocked me. These pirelli do hold the road alot better in corners its to bad they have this flat spot defect when they sit or I would keep them. I am gonna swith them out to Nitto or cooper haven't decided yet. Discount tire offered the switch with no hassle. Gotta love good customer service.

It ended up being a balance issue and not a flat spot. The manager took over my job and he's been doing it for 20 years. He balanced them himself and we took it up to 100MPH with no shake at all. I took it out this morning after it sat all night and still no more shake. I was so happy I bought them 3 large peporoni pizza for lunch today. Under $22 and they will remember me.. I really like the looks of these tires and didn't want to switch them out. Now all is good..

awsome. smart move buying them lunch too, i used to be a tire guy, i remembered the people that treated me nicely, even the ones that just gave me a coke after the job, its the decent thing to do.

Awesome truck!
I like that better than than the lift for your truck Manoah. I've never heard anything bad about the Nitto Terra Grapplers. The guy who did my lift on my Tundra had them on his Tundy and pre-ran the Baja 1k with them for Camburg and he said they held up awesome. He was really surprised at the ride quality on road and their capabilities off road.

which ever ones you can get a better price on, the pirellis or the terra grapplers.

My tires are wearing thin (we transferred the Tundra LTD wheels from our truck) and I'm considering 33X12.5 20" Nitto Terra Grapplers (after a 3" lift kit, of course), but I'm worried about using the stock wheels (offset & backspacing).
The Toyota wheels set everything so far into the fender well that it looks risky on hitting the coil-buckets or upper A-arms. Does this make sense, guys?
I guess I'm wondering if anyone has added a slight lift with beefier tires while retainign stock 'yoter wheels... Anyone?

Mike, did you mount the sub in the stock sub location? I need to get a new one and I am curious as to how it sounds if you did. Also did you paint the calipers red? Curious to see how they look!

I did 1000 miles in my Sequoia with a trailer last 10 days throught the Tenn and NC mountains and I got great gas mileage. Tail of the Dragon deals gap 15.4 at 80mph and 17.8 with out the trailer on. 305-45-22. These sequoias are awesome machines.. Heres a few pics.

Boss sells two sequoia wheels one is 40mm Positive off set and one 25mm pos off set. Honestly Iam not sure which ones they are. If I had to ask it would be 40mm. I have NO rubbing anywhere and have trimmed NOTHING.. Ive had it off roading (Chasing a Bear in NC) and on the dragon (318 corners in 11 miles with 8 people in it) and inspected it and NO rubs anywhere what so ever. I can't imagine that other than jumping it that it will ever rub. Iam very happy with this set up. If my wife leaves me it will go up 6" and bigger tires...lol..
I could be wrong but I think I read the stock is 60 pos
