Re: 22" Boss wheels. New stereo, bull bar, TV's etc Pics
How wide are they? 8" or 9"?
Just curious. Manoah is in Afghanistan and I'm gonna help his wife put wheels and tires on his Sequoia. But I'm not sure if he wants those wheels. So I'm trying to figure out all the specs on your wheels so I can apply them to other wheels.
Re: 22" Boss wheels. New stereo, bull bar, TV's etc Pics
I was scrolling around through websites for pictures of boss 329 and I ran into yours and I was wondering if those would fit on my 2004 Highlander 4wd? I'm trying to order them soon but I need to know if they would fit for sure on my SUV Thanks

Ive never owned a highlander but most rim shops have people they call who know what fits and what doesn't fit. I would stop in and ask. My stock size tire was 275-65-18 and these fit perfect with no rubbing. Hope this helps

That looks sweet. I just got my HID kit in the Mail today. I ordered a 10,000 light output and they sent me 12,000 which is almost purple looking instead of blue. I am going to go ahead and hook it up today to see if I like it. $135 on ebay. Ive been running the same kit in my motorcycle for 2 years with no issues. I will take some pics when I get it done.

One of these threads got me a little worried so I went to the local guy thats been in business for 30 years and does rims tinting stereos paint pretty much everything and he said 5 full turns is plenty. I thought it was to but post up the part numbers someone else might benefit from them.

The number on the stud is Metric U 331 10.9, the writing on the box is #641-2168, wheel bolt 331, M14-1.5x53.5mm and this is from NAPA. They fit in snug but don't need to be pressed so I have mine tacked in. Everything has been fine with them so far. I think the original studs would have been fine but three threads is kind of sketchy to me. I have photos in my album of the new stud vs. the old one.

Looking good. However, I just put 22s on my 08 Sequoia and the vibration at 60 upwards is terrible. I have had four different tire installers look at and three of them agree that I need a spacer or some other device to center the tires/wheels but the wheel maker disagrees and does not offer such. I am about ready to order the TRD 22" wheels and take these current wheels and tires back to the installer and dispute the charges on my credit card. Anybody else with this problem when installing 22's? I expected a somewhat harsher ride but the vibration is really really bad.

I have over 13,000 miles on mine since I bought them and make trips in excess off 600 miles round trip every month. I travel at 80mph the whole way and have no issues with shake. However I have heard that some rim manufacturers do have issues with the tundra and sequoia hub. Its large. I would stick with Boss, or larger manufactures who have done it a few times. Thats one of the reasons I went with Boss. It was done on this site and people gave good feedback. I get compliments daily.. What rims did you buy so we can keep other members from them?
