First of all, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Mark, the Sales Executive for Prestigious Society and a preferred dealer here at TS. Our company specializes in providing OEM navigation/video enhancement and enables the lock-outs features as many Toyota/Lexus owners are frustrated with.
During the past 1 1/2 years, we have served many Lexus owners (from ClubLexus and LexusOwnerClub) in the US as well as Canada, Europe and Middle East. All of our clients are extremely pleased with our Plug & Play override module.
Today we completed our test for the application we developed for the Tundra and Sequoia! The module works just like the application we have for Lexus. When the navigation override is activated, it will enable all the lockouts with respect to your navigation system while the vehicle is in motion. This includes entering address, POI, Bluetooth features, phone book, phone pad and navigating MP3 folders and play list. Another feature built in to this override module is enabled the video for the passengers. If your vehicle is equipped with rear entertainment system, the video override feature will unlock the video on the navigation screen while the vehicle is in motion. If your vehicle is not equipped with factory RES, the override module is compatible with 3rd party video input. One popular video input is utilizing the plug and play iPod integration that currently being offered by many companies in the market.
Again, this module is 100% plug and play and absolutely no wire cutting. Please visit the Group Buy section if you want to take advantage on our special pricing. Here are some pictures.

Lockpik, just released there override kit for the newer Sequoia. From what I have read it works very well.
Not trying to be rude and I understand you want to share the information with other members here. However, I think it is a little bit disrespectful to post that information on the thread started by the vendor. Not to mention, this is the preferred dealer who paid their fee and support this forum. I am from Lexus forum and I have never experienced things like this. Just my .02
Sharing of information is what makes this a useful site for me. How do you make an informed decision if you don't consider and review all options. I purchased my Sequoia after looking at the competition and I opened this topic to gather infromation. We are the rude ones because we probably just hyjacked this thread.
Once the module is turned on, does it need to be turned off for the nav to function properly while giving directions to a destination? Once this module is added, is it necessary to turn it off ever again or is it a "turn on and forget it" approach?
What is the price?
Are there advantages or disadvantages to the new Lockpick2 module?

This much is not clear to me, maybe it's not possible at all. So I ask:
I really have no need to turn it on anything...Ideally I want to plug and forget. What I really want is something that removes all the nannys and annoyances...forever. I want the text, to input the nav anytime, dial by touchscreen, etc. Without having to turn on/off everytime I turn on the car, or select a different feature.

Yes, you will need to deactivate the override and the navigation map interface will reestablish the signal and recalibrate your current position. Again, we do not think this is an issue because the purpose of unlocking the navigation is to access the lockout menus not the map interface.
Its a passive and noninvasive module. once its installed your vehicle is still in the stock setting. When you need to access the lockouts, then you activate the override by pressing one of the buttons.

Is this it?
Our system requires you to activate regardless on which mode you choose. So, I am affraid our system is not what you are looking for. We appreciate your time regardless.

Price is $250 plus shipping.
I assume by "pressing one of the buttons" you are not referring to the Sequoia's Nav controls but additional buttons your units comes with. Where are your override unit's "buttons" installed? Where are you making cuts into the dash or center console? Do you have any pictures of your "buttons" in a new Gen Sequoia?

Just to be clear: I would have to press a button to unlock NAV. That is clear. But also, for all the other features provided, right? Phone, text info (SAT/MP3), and all the blocked functions?
Thanks again for trying to help us with this issue.
