You must really hate Honda then, they only have models not options. you have to get either DX, LX, or EX.
BTW It looks like the 2010 sequoia is just models to with no options.
hunh?
Also, i added the disclaimer from the toyota website where I just looked up them 2010 sequoia and all you can get for options is nav or DVD
"Please remember, Toyota vehicles are built with popular option combinations. Not all options are available separately, and some options and accessories may not be available in all regions of the country. So please contact your Toyota dealer, who can help locate the vehicle that's right for you"

Does anyone in the entire country have a 2010 7942 White/Graphite stock from the factory?

i think its funny people say you cant order a vehicel. maybe not a toyota but other makes you certainly can, some you can even chose the "option" of factory delievery, corvettes, most german cars, etc. so to say you cant order ANY vehicle is pretty ignorant. you can place orders with most. Tundras for example, my co worker ordered his because it was an unusual list of options he wanted (and didnt want) and although it took a while he got it. this was pre-shut down due to gas price hike etc but back in 07....
I think its funny when people just refuse to listen. You must live in San Diego with these Charger fans who think they have a super bowl caliber team. Yes, you can place an order with your local dealership, BUT all they do is call around or hope one will come in with your options or whatever. This was BEFORE the auto meltdown. Yes, Back in 2007 they making a boatload of tundras and sequoias so that it did look like you could order whatever you wanted. Now there is so little inventory that it takes a good long search to find what you order. Besides the 2010 sequoia has no options except for nav and DVD. you can get SR5, limited, or platinum thats it
And that goes for all manufacturers, call and setup a visit to the factory. or just call the HQ for one and ask.

Update - I'm the proud owner of an Infiniti QX56 AWD. Sorry Toyota you can't deliver what you promise, it was turning into a full time project to find the specific Sequoia vehicle I wanted and since you don't empower your customers or dealers with tools to do a global search and you did not make enough to supply demand I was forced to go to another brand. Maybe I'll try you again in 7 years but buying the Infiniti was a piece of cake.

So you made no compromises in the vehicle you wanted when you switched from Sequoias to QX56's? You should've just shopped for Inifiniti's in the first place and saved yourself the hassle.
Congrats. I too got tired of Toyota jacking us potential Sequoia purchasers around. They restarted the manufacturing way too late so none were available. I purchased a Dodge Ram.
I did not want to buy an Infiniti but Toyota left me no choice. Toyota has no concern for the end customer other than building a great vehicle. Terrible manufacturing forecasting, non-existent national inventory tracking, no customer service, no real factory order process so you have to play games with a dealer's allocation, and dealerships who don't look beyond their lots result in my new Infiniti. I'm convinced in the next five years we are going to see a complete change in how we as consumers buy cars. This whole process is going to collapse and turn into an order taking process. This will save huge amounts of inventory cost and we will have many more mini-dealerships in strip malls with just a few vehicles but places where we place orders and pickup the delivered vehicle. The relationship will be consumer to manufacturer directly.

What was the big deal? You couldn't get the colour wanted. Who cares? It is just a colour.
I was in your shoes. I knew what I wanted and had the funds for the product I wanted. I had a very particular pkg I wanted. Had I sat around and asked for Toyota to ship the truck to me I would never have the vehicle I wanted. Keep in mind you WANT something too. Sometimes when you WANT something you have to go get it. If you don't want the product bad enough to put out some effort- don't blame the company. I'm not saying drive around the world looking for your particular pkg, just get on the phone, send a few emails, drive to a couple dealerships.
My EXACT pkg I wanted was at the nearest dealer. It was not listed in the inventory computer system because it was DEMO'd. You'll need to put out some effort to get what you want.
Toyota will not find your pkg, ship it to you, back it into your garage with a full tank of gas, freshly waxed and the papers filled out, ready to sign. Won't happen.
Toyota might not, but the dealer did. I couldn't deal with the local dealer, so contacted the dealer that had sold me my Camry thru an internet deal, and they found the SR5 Sequoia with the color and options that we wanted, quoted a trade in value for our Camry, delivered the vehicle to my house with a full tank of gas, and had all the paperwork ready to sign. They didn't back it into the garage, but waited for me to return after we took it for a spin to make sure there wasn't anything about it that we didn't like. The dealership was about 360 miles away. I like buying like this. Sitting for hours in a showroom while the salesmen are gathered up back in a room down some hallway, laughing and having fun, while you are sitting there, getting madder by the minute is not how I like to be treated.
I managed to walk in to my dealer and they had the sequoia I was looking for on the lot, a fully loaded platinum blizzard pearl. They gave me top dollar for my trade and knocked about 4k off msrp. I was happy with the deal the SUV is awesome
Just found this thread and the same problem...on the fence between the QX56 and the more recently updated Sequoia. The QX56, in its last year of production and a bit dated (2004 with mild 2008 update) still is providing a luxury brand warranty/service experience. There are only four configurations (with/without front sensor/intelligent cruise package, 2nd row bench or captains chairs) and all the colors are more or less available. It also appears to be a few thousand less expensive.
The Sequoia has some newer features (ventilated seats, iPod interface, 380hp more fuel efficient engine) but the QX56 has a more luxurious interior and like the Armada a much better bluetooth and I believe nav implementation.
The limited quantity doesn't stop the Toyota dealer from dealing (near invoice), but so far not any color my wife would agree to.
The hundreds of miles purchase has lots of issues. First, you are adding significant search and delivery costs. Second, you don't know if their will be a closing problem with the dealer trying to squeeze in extra costs. Third, there are little nagging issues that a selling dealers is willing to fix but a non-selling dealer doesn't get reimbursed enough on warranty to handle. Finally, the selling dealer often includes small perks--Nissan dealers here include lifetime all changes and loaner cars--for customers who purchased from them; those would be lost.
