does any body have part numbers for the painted rear view mirror covers and exterior door handles. i would like to swap my chrome ones for them. i am specifically looking for silver sky metallic (1d6).

I believe per the DIY chrome or painted door handles and mirrors thread that you have to paint them yourself.

Although when I was in Toyota yesterday they had a tundra single cab with painted red mirror caps. So they may have made this an option on the 2009 models.

What kind of vehicles you have? Tundra or Sequoia? trdsparks.com sell the color matched handles!

Toyota does not sell nor have a part# for 08+ mirror caps.

Best bet is to have them painted yourself.

Ty, did you go to Toyota today and check to see if they had a part number for just the cover. Cause they have the painted mirrors they just may not have just the cover piece. They have never had a part number for the cover piece but they may sell the color coded mirrors. Check before you speak because the 2010 model does come with the color matched mirrors and I apologize if this was from the confusion of me posting 2009 instead of 2010 model year. Don McGill Toyota and Scion of Katy has had some of the most badass brand new tundras around, from factory lifted to the factory TRD Offroad package which I cannot remember the name of which is different from the TRD Offroad package that you see on most trucks to the TRD with 22's and factory painted mirrors. If you need proof let me know and I will be up there tomorrow to take pictures of the FACTORY PAINTED MIRRORS. Please don't talk about what you have never seen!

i have a sequoia. are the handles the same for both vehicles? the 2010 sr5 sequoia comes with color matched mirror covers and door handles. so i know the are out there

I bought the color matched handles for my 2007 tundra CM with 2008 Sequoia handles.... silver sky metallic (1D6).

What year is your Sequoia?... 2008-2010 are the same... I believe... not 2007 Sequoia.

I'm going to paint the mirrors to color match myself... maybe later if I have time...

I had mine painted this winter and right after it was completed, I found out that Toyota has paint match parts for the 2008 and newer. They didn't have them when I started. I know they have door handles and grilles, not totally sure about the mirror caps. I am overall happy I got mine painted though, the chrome is gone on everything and I removed some badges. Check out my photos.

Listen smart guy, Toyota does not sell 08+ mirror caps so there is no part# for it. A friend of mine is a parts manager for Toyota.

So, get your facts straight foolio and your the one that shouldn't talk.

i got my handles from sparks. perfect.

the only way to get painted mirror covers is to buy the whole mirror assembly for several hundred dollars each.... no way.

BUT, i found some covers aftermarket. you can buy smooth black or textured. I got the smooth ones and painted them to match.

i got the covers from a1auto.com $35 for both and free shipping!! the covers fit perfectly, but two of the "non-essential" tabs on the inside of the cover were turned 90* from the way the should have been. they were vertical instead of horizontal. no big deal, they came right off. they don't hold the cover on or in place what so ever.

i got the paint from paintscratch.com... perfect color match. with clear. i just have to buff them.

i'm happy!
