I ordered a 2010 Sequoia SR5.
It comes with 18" as you all know but I would like the Limited/Platinum 20" wheels.
The dealer can't find any and there's none on ebay right now.
The dealer has offered me these Tundra 20" wheels (w/ tires but w/o tpms) with 7.5K miles on it, he says they are in like new condition.
The dealer ask 775$ USD and would take off my new 18" tires from my Sequoia wheels in exchange.
Anybody has picture of a Sequoia with those wheels?
Does it sound as a good deal?
What do you think?
Sounds like a bad deal to me. He is going to charge you $775 and he is going to take your stockers and he is not including the TPMS. Do the math.
$775 USED wheels from the dealer
$600 proceeds from you selling your stockers
$400 for new TPMS
Total = $1775
With that kind of money, you could buy you nice, new aftermarket wheels and tires. Or you could find someone on here selling there stock 20's and then sale your stockers. Your dealer aka STEALER is trying to rape you. Just My Opinion.

Reason: grammar
So what you're saying is that you will buy some new 18" tires that are beefier, so you can use them in the winter? It could be an okay deal if that's what you were planning on doing anyways... If the 20" wheels and tires are in like new condition then it's good. Otherwise, there are plenty of people selling slightly blemished tundra 20's for less money. I'd say do it, but only if the price includes mount/dismount of TPMS and tires on the new(used) 20's.

I misunderstood. I thought you were saying that you would be buying the 20's for $775 and in exchange for your stockers(stock tire and wheels). So...yeah $775 is not to bad for used tires/wheels. If it was me, I think I would put that $775 on some nicer aftermarket wheels. But, then you will be looking at around $1500 for new tires/wheels. If you like the wheels/tires that they have, then go for it and save the money. I dont know anything about having winter/summer tires. It seems like it is always summer in SE Louisiana.

My Limited had the 18" stock wheels and, after about 2 weeks of keeping an eye out on the net, I found a set of 20's (wheels and tires with less than a week's of mileage on them) off a Platinum on Craigslist. The guy upgraded to aftermarkets immediately after taking delivery. Paid $1,000 plus shipping and used the TPSM off the 18's. IMO, the 20's off the Tundra look to similar to the 18's you are replacing. Keep looking and you will find them. They look great! Anyone interested in my 18's with tires (2,100 miles), I'll let the set go for $500.
Thanks guys for your answers.
That's true that they are pretty similar to the 18".
I'll pass for now.
Anyway it will take at least one month before I get the Sequoia so hopefully I will have found the wheels by then.

About 15K miles on them and "some" curb rubs and other such wear but no significant buggers that I can recall.
I have the diamond cut 20's, whatever the ones that came with the 2008 Platinums...I don't like them, not worth upgrading to. IMHO, I'd get something aftermarket. Also, I'd go with some 22's or 24's if you're into that bling look, as the 20's look fairly small on the truck. However, I wouldn't mind getting 18's with some fatass tires....
Thanks Penguin, this is exactly what I was looking for, a Sequoia pic with those wheels.
It looks pretty nice.
I agree that the 18" are way too small for that beast.
I don't want to lift the truck so I guess I should stay with 20" max.
I will look at aftermarket wheels if I can't find the ones I want.

Thanks for the offer Manasseh33, but I'm looking for new take-off.
