Unhappy Help with Sequoia Window Programming After replacing Bent Regulator

Does anyone know if there is a way to program the windows on a 2001 Sequoia. The problem I am having is that my wife's Sequoia's front passenger window had a bent window regulator and the tabs on the glass broke, so instead of giving dealer $600+ to fix, I ordered parts and my cousin helped me fix the window for a total of $300. Now it rolls down automatically without a problem. Everything is working great, except that when you go to roll the window up it goes completely up then comes back down half way and stops. In order to get it up you have to carefully "bump" the window switch until it gets to top in order for it to stay at top position. If anyone has any suggestions on how to fix, they would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You

Try adjusting the motor so it does not close all the way to the top. When the motor starts to draw too much current because it hits somthing (like someones head or hand) it will reverse. I think your window is hitting the stop too soon. You may be able to adjust it. C

C,

Thanks for the suggestion. I have been on vacation so I haven't had a chance to try it yet. One question I do have is that this is a 2001 model, and when I do try to put my hand in the way of this or any other window while it is rolling up, it doesn't stop or reverse. I don't think Toyota started putting that safety feature on until later, so do you think that adjusting motor still might work?
