Default 12v Power outlets?

Hello all:
My new 08 Sequoia 4x4 Ltd has the std 4 12v outlets and my question is this; Are these outlets supposed to be off when the ignition key is off/locked? Mine appear to be on even when ignition is off. It's not on acc or on. All my adapters still show power draw if left plugged in. According to the manual, the power should only be on when the ignition is on, acc or the engine is running. I would really like to leave my GPS plugged in but i don't want a power drain when it's not running. Thanks for advice.

I have found that the one in the center front closest to the driver is the only one that is switched with the ignition. The rest stay on for a couple hours after the vehicle is turned off.

The 12v Outlets are smart outlets they will remain on for 2hrs after the ignition is turned off, this allows you to leave GPS or laptop plugged in that wont drain your battery. The Cigarett lighter however is switched and will turn off with the ignition.

Thanks guys. That is the answer I was looking for. FWIW, my service writer at centennial Toyota told methat they stayed on all the time. 2 hours shouldn't be a problem with low draw stuff.
