Default Wider tires; will they clear those upper A-arms?

Since we transferred the 20" Tundra limited wheels to our Sequoia, I'll soon be in need of some new tires.

I'd like to upgrade to some 33X12.5 R20 Nitto Terra Grapplers, but that stock upper A-arm has got me REALLY nervous. If you reach your hand around the back of your stock tire, you can barely wedge your hand between the rubber of the tire and the sharp top of the upper A-arm. So, mounting wider tires may cause a serious safety concern.

Has anyone upgraded their tires on STOCK wheels?

(hoenstly, I don't even know what I ask these things, I already know that no one has)

I have 305x45x22 on mine don't know the conversion. The rims are 9.5 with a 40mm back space. Mine is close but has never rubbed in 12,000 miles

i had 38's a long time ago on a bronco, and i noticed that on a 9" wide wheel, the tire looks taller than if the same tire is mounted on a 10" wheel. you know?
