Pictures Thread Tint

I searched for a thread showing different levels of tint on the Sequoia. I'm curious for example how a 20% on the front would match the factory sides. Any and all, 5%,20%,30%,etc please post up your pics.

At this point I am leaning towards 20% front sides, 50% windshield and 5% moonroof.

Here in Ohio they are strict on window tinting. I have heard some Cops actually make an X with a razor blade through the illegal tint. I would sue there rears for it immediatly as Cops are NOT judge and Jury in any circumstance. Regurdless check your local laws. I have 20% ceramic on mine which holds the heat out better than standard tint as well. I am also married to a doc who wrote me a prescription for the increased level of tint. I am a red head and so are my kids and we burn easier than most. Heres the pics

Is the back factory or did you tint over that? My tint guys wants me to do 20% over factory tint.

The rear is NOT TINT its colored glass. If you tint over that it will be super dark. Mine is stock colored glass. The pictures look deceptive in person its alot closer to stock color.

Sorry for not being clear, I am aware that the factory glass is 'baked in.' I am undecided between doing 30% up front plus 30% over the rear factory glass or 20% up front plus 20% over the rear factory glass.

How is the rear factory glass at night? Any difficulty with seeing/backing up/etc?? I know the factory glass does not cut out as much heat as aftermarket tint does. I'll probably wind up with 20/20.

I can see very well at night. I had an SUV that I tinted over the stock baked in glass tint and I couldn't see anything. Thats the only reason I didn't retint it too. I would do 20% up front and do like 50% or higher in the back if it had to be done. Is it a security thing or you just want it super dark?

I'm doing it for privacy, overall look and deflection of heat. After looking over the car I've decided to do 20% up front and 30% over factory glass.

I got 15% tint (at least thats what the tiny guy told me) on my front windows and they are an identical match to the back factory tinted windows. Camera down right now but you can see pics in my album.

Dropped it off today, 20% up front, 30% over factory rear, 50% windshield, 5% moonroof.

It's nice not having to squint and take your eyes off the road when the sun goes down (or up). In addition the 30% over the factory rear is not difficult to see out of. I noticed on my wife's HL that the front 30% Lumar tint blocks out more heat than the rear factory "20%". Seems like it (factory tint) is more for looks than for function. I don't even need to put up the privacy curtains that are on the back windows.
