For those that were following the greetings thread from JMSinMD I received the LEDs for the rear reflectors. The 2" were too small by themself but I knocked the red reflector off the black backing and drilled it out to accomodate the LED to make it look proper. The 2.5" will fit perfect according to JMSinMD. Ran the wiring for running lights only (brown wire on small hitch plug).
Simple mod to do but looks a lot better with the white on white. Rep points sent JMSinMD!

Congrats, white on white does look good. I got mine and will have them installed Saturday along with my White Night system.

This would be a great mod with really strong LED's. I would love to have them act as rear fog lights. The only thing I miss about owning Euro cars is the nordic options like rear fogs.

These can be easily wired up to come on with the brakes, run a wire to come on with the front fogs or to run with the driving lights, like mine will be and the above are.
These are rated at 100,000 hours so I'm not concerned with them ever burning out. I figure the further back someone can see me or in the case of the Highlander, my wife, the better.
FYI, the 2.5" with the rubber grommet that comes with them looks like it came from the factory. The sales guy asked the install guy when he planned to put in the LED (he didn't realize he already did). Pics to follow this evening.

Actually the pics do not do justice to the brightness of these lights. They are brighter than the tails by quite a bit. These would definitely cut through fog better than the tails.
