Anyone take apart their dash including removal of factory Navigation? I just ordered a LockPick 2wf to unlock my navigation/rear view camera/DVD player up front (not that I will utilize DVD while driving) while vehicle is in motion.

Shops are quoting me 2-3 hours @ $60 per.

Assume the Sequoia has the same dash as the Tundra ( 2nd gen ).... go to link below and see how he did it... LOL...

I can pull my radio in less than 60 seconds with a socket and break nothing.

go to this link to remove the dash, much more pleasing on the eyes. I would use some tape to protect any wood "aplique" or surfaces near the nav while doing the dash disassembly. I put in the lock pic 2 and an xm unit at the same time.

I will do it wed or thurs and take pics for you. Its real easy.. Probably thursday. I have 3 doctor appointments tommorow. Yes I am messed up..

Do you think $70-$100 installed would be a fair price for labor for dash disassembly/Lockpic 2 install?

Do it yourself man, it really is not that bad. I did it once w/ the web link I gave, then had to do it again for the xm install. Did it the second time from memory. I'd grab a beer tomorrow night, tell the wife and kids to go somewhere,(if you have them) and save yourself the $$. If I remember the lock pic is plug and play, real simple from the instructions.

I pu$$ied out and had a stereo shop install it with a lifetime guarantee on labor. Pretty cool having the navigation unlocked, also unlocked rear view camera while vehicle in motion and dvd plays on the front nav system while also playing in back. Half of my mods done, a few more to go.
