I have an 08 Sequoia and the parking brake light stays "on" . The parking brake is fully retracted abd the brake fluid level is normal. Any ideas? Thanks.

It's a stretch b/c I'm still learning about my "new to me" Sequoia, is it possible that a bulb is burnt out and that is what is causing it to illuminate?

Check that the brake is coming all the way up. There is a little push switch that illuminates that light. If pushing that in makes the light go out, there is your problem, if not, fill brake fluid to max level.

It could be a bulb out. It's just so new that I didn't even consider a bulb. Thanks, I'll check it out

This might be a stretch of the imagination, but how does a burned out light stay on?
