Default Sequoia maintanance q's

Hi, I got a used 05 Sequoia 4x2 Limited and am ready to do some maintenance work to it. It currently has 69k miles. I am not too mechanically incline so just need some confirmation and answers:

1) Oil change: I am in Florida, is it OK to use Mobil 1 Full synthetic 5W-30 (6.5 Qts?) A mechanic advised 10W40 because of Florida's hot weather...
2) Rear Differential Oil: Is it Ok to use Mobil 1 Synthetic 75W-90W (around 4 Qts?) Also mechanic advised not to change it but until 100k miles...
3) Transmission oil: What brand/type/grade of synthetic oil should I use and how many Qts? How often should I change transmission oil? Any DIY instructions on how to perform this?
4) Anything else I should replace or maintain such as fuel filter, brake fluid and coolant flushing, etc?

I just changed the front and rear brakes pads with Hawk HPS pads and just ordered NJK Iridium IX spark plugs.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Congrats on the new truck.
My opinion is that a 10w40 would probably be too thick. That's right around diesel spec and certainly not the norm. I am not sure, but I am guessing that a higher viscosity will only create more pressure in the system, so unless you have very good reason to run a thicker oil I would certainly avoid it. I don't know about the rest of your questions, although I assume your owner's manual will answer many of them.

I would agree, just stick with the 5w-30, or even a 0w-30 oil for the motor. I did both differentials with Redline synthetic (all I could find in synthetic at the store I was in), as well as the transfer case just because I want it to last and it helped with fuel economy. The tranny also seems to like synthetic, and I think I just ran some Mobil1 and did a quick drain and fill every 30k miles (I think it's less than 4qts).
