..wanted to see/read how popular is it to have added options with the Platinum Sequoia as AWD and Crawl System.. what do you think...

i cant really see how practicle a "crawl system" would be on a "platinum" seqouia, if its what i think it is, and if most platinum owners are how i imagine they are, then it would be wasted money on an option that would never get used.

I have a 2008 Landcruiser and the all wheel drive is nice and I would not change a thing on it.. As for the crawl control... it is the biggest waste I have ever seen.. It shakes and rattles and jerks so much, the few times we used it I actually thought it was defective.. I could never see anyone using this in real life.. it is cool to tell people about, but when you put them in the car and activate it, at first it scares the crap out of them, and by the end of the ride they are thinking that is the biggest POS they have ever seen.
Its cool that it can drive itself, but you expect that type of car to be smooth and refined in all areas, so when the brakes start poping and all the jerking starts it sucks..
I would never want it on anything I owned again..

Had it on my 4runner and as stated it is the worst system ever. It feels like the car is going to shake itself apart. Most ridiculous option ever. Used it once and never again. Putting it in 1st gear was a way better way to do it. It was not the actual crawl option but a deviation called DAC.
