Default someone help me understand lifting/ leveling my wife's sequoia

i bought my wife a 2008 sequoia, well today i found some bilstein 5100's with coils already installed for a good price (they are for a 2010 tundra i beleive they are the same parts). so i want to buy these and install them on the sequoia, but if i understand this right (yes i did a search on here) if i lifted the front more then 1" i would then need to lift the back of the sequoia.
so if i went with the full 2.5" lift in the front i would need 1.5 in the back?
the only way to lift the rear is either a spacer lift or custom coils?

so do i have this right so far?????

next question what size tires can i fit under a stock sequoia? i do not want to trim much, i do not care about taking off the small mud flap on the front of the front wheel wells. i would like to leave the other ones.
i have 295-65-18's on my tundra and i would like to go with the same size if possible.

    anyway thanks for the help.

one more question for all you guru's out there. on toytecs web page they show the same part for the tundras and sequoias when it comes to the 5100's. bilstein shows 2 different part numbers, however when i called them (bilstein) and ask what the difference was they could not find any difference between the 2 parts. so will the tundra part number 5100's work??????

I am guessing that if you were to use taller coils out back, you will also need shocks that have a longer travel.

Platinum owners are relegated to the RevTek lift for the rear, SR5 and Limited owners have more options. Contact Brian at Jowett Engineering for info or search this forum for other members that have done lifts.

The 2 1/2 front lift provided by the bilstein 5100 would work fine with the RevTec spacer for the rear. You could then install 5100s, non-adjustable, in the rear to handle the longer travel. I have 33" tires and no rubbing. Have seen a lot of information from Brian at Jowett Eng. and, as noted by JMSinMD, and he will be able to help answer any questions you may have.
