Re: Welcome to TundraSolutions.com! - New Members/Owners Introduce Yourself Here!
New guys here. Back in the Toyota family after a foray into Acura-land. Got the wife a Silver 2006 Sequoia Limited. Pretty much a "base" limited: 2WD, JBL 6 Changer w/rear audio, etc. Love the ride of the toy - much better than a previous Expedition I owned.
Just ordered the new Weathertech Floor Liners to keep her looking new, and will be looking to integrate the ipod through the stock unit. So, I will be trolling the audio section for opinions. Looks like a great board!

Hi all. I've been a 4Runner owner for a number of years and have just purchased a 2006 Sequoia to give us the inside room needed plus still being able to haul a trailer. I always enjoyed the information shared on the 4Runner boards and am looking forward to the same here.

Hello all. I have been watching this forum for a while as I have been looking to replace my '04 Sienna with something that could tow more. To that end I just traded the Sienna on a new '06 Sequoia!
Re: Welcome to TundraSolutions.com! - New Members/Owners Introduce Yourself Here!
I've been a member for a while but have never posted before. I have a Black 2006 Sequoia SR5 w/Sport Package. I have added a K&N Intake, TRD Exhaust and replaced the OEM bulbs w/PIAA lights. I ordered the PIAA Xtreme White Plus for the headlights and the fog/driving lights. I've read people post that they fit fine. Unfortunately, for the 06 models (and I'm guessing it is the same for 05's), the 9006 Xtreme White Plus bulbs from PIAA for the fog/driving lights do not fit. The base of the light that screws into the housing is an older style and is too thick. I talked to a rep at PIAA and he told me their Super Plasma GT-X model has a newer base and should fit. He sent me one and sure enough they fit. I don't know how useful this was but I hope it will save some members time and headache of reordering new bulbs.

Hi,
Just joined the site. I have a loaded 03 Sequoia that I got with 27K on it. It has 65K on it now and it's been great. The "D" shift indicator light just burned out and I wonder if anyone has changed one?
Thanks,
Don

Greets from Las Vegas, just purchased a used 04 Sequoia, now selling my 85 Toyota 1/2 ton Longbed, which has 250,000 miles on it, previous vehicles have been 80 Toyota Celica, 84 Ford Bronco II, 80 Datsun 4x4 P/U, 72 Buick LeSabre, 70 Ford Galaxy 500.
Looking forward to doing some upgrades to my new truck, I have always done mod/upgrade work on all my other vehicles, even as much as a complete rebuild (Datsun 4x4, which out performed a lot of Jeeps and other 4x4's in climbing and general offroading).

Howdy, folks!
Just picked up a 2002 Sequoia w/ 69K (mostly highway) miles on it last week. Nice ride -- big change from the bone-jarring suspension of my '96 Taco. Have to wait until snowmelt before I can see how she does on the jeep trails, 'tho.
Already replaced the "D" tranny light based on instructions here, so .
Now I just gotta figure out if I can change out the running-light support that hangs off of the headlight assembly (piece is broken off, so the passenger running light is flopping more than I like), or if I'm looking at a complete replacement of the headlight assembly on that side .

Hey -- Just looking for some info on my 2002 Sequoia SR5 4WD and stumbled across this forum. The Sequoia is mostly my wife's car...we've been Toyota owners for many many years. My primary ride is an Infiniti G35 6MT Coupe, a little more nimble than the Sequoia
Re: Welcome to TundraSolutions.com! - New Members/Owners Introduce Yourself Here!
Hello, all...
I bought a 04 Sequoia that was an insurance salvage vehicle. A theft recovery that had been burned inside. The middle seat suffered the worst, the other seats were scorched, the headliner and overhead console were gone, carpet was melted in some places, as were much of the plastic interior pieces. The stalks for the wipers and lights were melted and unusable. After much sourcing through conventional sources, I was able to find all to refurbish it. The cloth seats have been replaced by leather, and the door panels changed from the cloth SR5 to the Limited style. I was not able to find a suitable radio to replace the melted one, so the radio is from a Tundra (no casette, no big deal).
What amazed me was the fact that a 14 mm and 10 mm wrench, a couple of screwdrivers, and a door panel puller are about all you need to completely dismantle the interior, and install a replacement.
Years ago,I did a frame off on a european sports car, but this was a cake walk compared to the prior project. BTW, i turned 60 last month, and this is NOT how I earn my livlihood... just a hobby.
